I'm Liz and I'm an artist.

 

I think I must have been born with a brush in my hand, as my earliest memories are of me happily covered in paint. Fast forward to the present day and nothing has changed! However, these days my style is slightly more sophisticated, and I paint mainly in oils although acrylics also make up my palette.

 

I love playing around with colour and take my inspiration from an eclectic array of subject matter whether that be people, seascapes, landscapes or animals, for which I have a particular affinity.

 

When undertaking commissions, my focus is on capturing the very essence of the subject and the sheer joy of bringing it to life. That can be in traditional, modern or whimsical form....whatever is required. In the words of a famous artist 'Art is not what you see, but what you make others see'.
